About our custom portable cabins
Many projects need a building that does not exist as a standard product: a materials testing room, a switchgear or control room, a stores and tool crib, a first-aid room, a prayer room, a canteen, a training room or a customer-facing kiosk. Each has its own requirements for size, openings, services and internal fit-out.
Karfan Barks manufactures these as custom units. The process starts from your drawing or a description of what the unit has to do, moves to an agreed layout, and then to production against that agreed specification. Nothing goes into fabrication until the drawing is confirmed.
Custom units can be produced as one-offs or as a repeatable design when the same building is needed at several locations, which keeps specification and appearance consistent across a programme.

Can you build from our own drawing?
Yes. Send the drawing and specification and we will review it, raise any manufacturing points, and confirm the final layout with you before production.
What if we do not have a drawing yet?
Describe the function, the number of people or equipment involved and any constraints on site. We will work from that toward a layout you can approve.
Can the same custom design be repeated later?
Once a design is agreed it can be reproduced for additional units so a programme keeps a consistent specification and appearance.
How does the custom process work?
Requirement, drawing and specification agreement, quotation, production against the agreed drawing, then delivery to your site.
